What we need to know about the treatment of dental anomalies

Dental dysplasias are disorders in the structure of the tooth as a result of disturbed normal development of the enamel, dentin or the entire tooth. When the organic component of the teeth is incompletely developed, their shape changes – hypoplasiasDots, grooves, and folds are observed on the teeth.

When tooth mineralization is inadequate, cavities are formed. dysplasias, conditioned as hypomineralizations.

When teeth change color, they form dyschromasias.

In milder cases, local mineralizing therapy is sufficient. For larger and more complex cases, orthopedic therapy is the mainstay.

Denture restoration can be achieved with the following methods and options:

– direct bonding (building up the teeth)
– with photopolymer material)
– composite veneers
– ceramic veneers
– metal-ceramic crowns
– all-ceramic crowns
– zirconium crowns
or a combination of the options outlined above.
