From 29.11.2024, Individual Practice for Specialized Dental Care MEGADENT LD EOOD is implementing a project "Improving the healthy and safe working environment for employees at the Bushkalova Dental Clinic", with contract No. BG05SFPR002-1.004- 0179-C01, funded under the Human Resources Development Program 2021-2027.
The project has a duration of 18 months and a budget of 76398.27 BGN, of which 64938.53 BGN co-financing from the European Social Fund plus and 11459.74 BGN national co-financing. The main objective is to meet the new challenges related to the transition to a climate-neutral economy and changing work patterns by improving the healthy and safe working environment in IPSDP MEGADENT LD EOOD, which is a key element in achieving sustainable
working conditions for all employees, helping to reduce workplace health risks and improve occupational health and safety standards.
The specific objectives of the project are:
introducing changes in the organization of work to include environmentally friendly activities in specific work processes and at certain workplaces;
building a comprehensive environmentally friendly (green) company culture and motivating employees to think environmentally friendly;
building a team of highly motivated, mentally healthy and resilient specialists who will be as helpful as possible to their patients;
ensuring maximum safety and health in the workplace for employees at the Bushkalova Dental Clinic;
providing the medical staff in the clinic with an air environment that is as clean as possible from microbes and other harmful microorganisms, in order to prevent health from various viral diseases and ensure the safety of workers;
creating the necessary conditions for rest and toning for all persons working in the clinic, to strengthen physical and mental health, and to achieve maximum work capacity.
These goals will be achieved through the implementation of the following main activities:
- Development and implementation of "green" models of labor organization;
- Psychological support for the prevention and treatment of workplace burnout and the effect of the COVID pandemic on mental health;
- Providing personal protective equipment and special work clothing with a higher degree of protection for clinic employees;
- Provision of collective protective equipment for air purification;
- Providing social benefits for employees - improving the conditions for rest and creating prerequisites for active sports at the workplace, through equipping a fitness room.
The effective measures taken will help change the organization of work processes and form a green company culture, overcome burnout, achieve a higher level of protection with new PPE and SRO, prevent biological infections, and improve working conditions for those working in the clinic.
