Dentures
The lack of teeth, especially at a younger age, leads not only to impaired chewing function, but also to unpleasant aesthetic defects. From ancient times to the present day, humanity, and in particular dentistry, have sought to solve this problem in various ways.
Types of dentures
Today, patients have a choice that, depending on their price, gives different quality in terms of strength and aesthetics of the respective construction: wrap-around crowns made of metal and various aesthetic inlays – plastic, glaciosite, ceramic. These are the so popular crowns and bridges - choice by the dentist according to indications for the specific case and choice by the patient in terms of quality and price depending on the possibilities and need.
More delicate are the restorations of partial unlimited defects and complete absence of teeth. In these cases, removable structures are made, the so-called dentures. They can be made of plastic with hooks in the most common and popular version. More modern, easier to adapt are cast dentures (model cast dentures) with joints and locks. These complex miniature attachment elements are discreet and strong. Their technological production is special and more expensive.
