Dental dysplasias are disorders in the structure of the tooth as a result of disturbed normal development of the enamel, dentin or the entire tooth. When the organic component of the teeth is incompletely developed, their shape changes \u2013 hypoplasias<\/em><\/strong>Dots, grooves, and folds are observed on the teeth.<\/p>\n

When tooth mineralization is inadequate, cavities are formed. dysplasias<\/em><\/strong>, conditioned as hypomineralizations<\/em>.<\/p>\n

When teeth change color, they form dyschromasias<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In milder cases, local mineralizing therapy is sufficient. For larger and more complex cases, orthopedic therapy is the mainstay.<\/p>\n

Denture restoration can be achieved with the following methods and options:<\/p>\n

\u2013 direct bonding (building up the teeth)
\n\u2013 with photopolymer material)
\n\u2013 composite veneers
\n\u2013 ceramic veneers
\n\u2013 metal-ceramic crowns
\n\u2013 all-ceramic crowns
\n\u2013 zirconium crowns
\nor a combination of the options outlined above.<\/p>\n
