Cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 chemical substances in the form of particles or gases and aerosols. Smoking not only causes bad breath, hard-to-remove stains on the teeth, but is also one of the main risk factors for periodontitis (periodontitis) and peri-implantitis and general health.
