Therefore, many people ask themselves the question:

How to care for new dentures?

The following few steps can help you answer this question and enjoy your new dentures:

For the first few days, suck on small peppermints to help you deal with excessive salivation.

Read aloud for at least 30 minutes daily. So you will learn to speak words faster with the new prostheses.

Start feeding initially with mushy food, step by step including more solid food in your menu.

Cut your harder and tougher food into small pieces. This will make it easier to chew.

Remove the dentures after each meal and wash them with toothpaste and a brush.

Once a week, place your dentures in a cup with a cleaning tablet. It removes dirt and odors.

If you need to remove your dentures, store them in a glass of water.

Visit your dentist until the moment you dentures stop pressing on your gum and they don't give you sores.

At least every 5 years, rebase your dentures at a dentist, because the prosthetic field (alveolar ridge, gum) changes.

<div class="kksr-icon" style="width: 24px;
