For achieving optimal results, it is necessary to undergo professional teeth cleaning at least one week before the whitening procedure. This will remove accumulated tartar and deposits on the teeth, thus enhancing the visible outcome of the procedure. Based on the dentist's assessment, at-home whitening may be performed before proceeding with in-office whitening. Following professional in-office whitening, it is also possible to continue with at-home whitening systems to achieve an even better and longer-lasting effect. Keep in mind that old crowns and bridges cannot be whitened, so if necessary, they need to be replaced.

As mentioned above, the procedure for professional in-office teeth whitening is carried out in 1 visit within 1 hour. First, the color of the patient's teeth needs to be determined. Based on the natural color of the teeth, the shade of white that will best suit their smile is determined.

Before applying the whitening gel, the gums need to be dried, and a protective cream is applied on the lips. A lip retractor and a special gingival (crown) barrier are placed to protect the gums and soft tissues.

Next, the whitening gel is applied directly onto the teeth with a thickness of 1-2 millimeters. It is left on for about 15 minutes, suctioned without rinsing, and then the gel is applied a second time with the same thickness. There is also a third application of the gel, again with the same amount and duration. Finally, the teeth are thoroughly rinsed, and a remineralizing foam is applied. The color of the teeth will stabilize approximately one week after the whitening. It is advisable to avoid colored foods and drinks in the first 48 hours after teeth whitening.

In our clinic, we also offer a quick refreshing teeth whitening procedure, which is performed after a professional cleaning to remove plaque and tartar. The procedure takes about 10 minutes and provides an additional boost to oral hygiene at a very affordable price.

A mouth opener and a special gingival (dental) barrier are placed to protect the gums and soft tissues. The whitening gel is applied to the teeth and activated using a UV lamp with blue light. After the procedure is complete, the mouth opener is removed, and the mouth is rinsed.
